What makes Rukhad special is that these forests serve as a wildlife corridor between two major national parks - Pench and Kanha. Unlike the core zones of Pench Tiger Reserve which are closed for tourists for 3 months during the monsoons, these beautiful dense forests are open throughout the year. Tourists visiting Pench often come to Rukhad for its sightings of wildlife like tigers, leopards and sloth bears.   The resort along with it’s multi cuisine Bison Treat Restaurant is located adjacent to the national Highway (NH44) connecting Jabalpur to Nagpur.
